Monthly Mail Art – October 2017
Hi all! Kristina here! I’m back with another Monthly Mail Art envelope and video. This month, I created a Halloween themed custom envelope. I used the Plushoween stamp set from Mama Elephant to create a cute scene along the bottom of the envelope.
Because I wanted to use Copic Markers on the scene, I created an envelope out of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White card stock (a Copic-friendly paper) using the 1-2-3 Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers. You can make an envelope out of any kind of paper using this punch board.
Also because of my plan to color with Copics, I used Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. It’s an ink that works well with Copics.
I knew I wanted to have a banner stretching between the animals so that I could put Joanie’s name on it. So I first sketched the banner using a pencil and then went over the lines with a Memento Tuxedo Black Marker (this marker also works with Copics).
After coloring the scene with Copic Markers, I used the Large Dots Stencil to blend on some Pumice Stone Distress Ink, mostly on the top half of the envelope. Joanie’s address was added using an Extra Fine Pilot Envelope Addressing Pen.
NOTE: Address used with permission.
I hope you love today’s envelope! Thanks for stopping by. :)

Adorable! Love your Mail Art and look forward to seeing it!
So cute, I would never throw your envelopes away. They are frame worthy.
This is SO cute! Great job colouring!
Kristine, you have me in a dither. I purposely don’t ‘like’ Halloween projects on Instagram and Facebook but when I saw your mail art I couldn’t help but ‘like’ the posts. The little critters in their outfits look so cute (even though I don’t find Halloween cute!)
If I get one of those envelopes I would frame it! They are fantastic! TFS
So cute! I love mail art & would absolutely love receiving mail this awesome!!
If someone sent me this I wouldn’t want to open it! It is so adorable!
So a fun envelope. It would certainly make the recipient’s day.

Such a delightful envelope!! The banner is a fabulous touch over the address. Joanie will love it!
love the envelopes you make, I never bother as I worry the automated sworting machine won’t sort it properly, i might put the nice one inside a blanc one one day ;-)
