Masked Watercolor with FineTec Pearlescent Paints
Hello all! Kristina Werner here. Today I had so much fun creating a watercolor card using both traditional watercolors (American Crafts Paper Fashion Watercolors) and FineTec Pearlescent Watercolors.
I started out by masking off six squares in a window pane pattern using masking tape. Then I wet each square with water and dropped in watercolors. After letting it dry, I added small areas of gold pearlescent paint.
Small patterns were stamped in three squares using images from the Hello Darling stamp set and then traced over using a white gel pen. I also added a thin lined border to the other squares.
To finish off the card, I cut the Take Care dies four times, stacked the die cuts, and adhered the greeting to the card.
Thanks for stopping by! :)
