Hi bloggers!! Happy Thursday  FRIDAY to you! I’m not too sure where the week went, but that it FLEW by! I couldn’t think of a sweeter or happier way to end the work week than with a STAMPtember® + Lawn Fawn exclusive from the amazing and wonderful Kelly Marie Alvarez! When meeting fantastic people like Kelly that live on the other side of the country, it sure makes me wish I had a teleporter so I could hang out with her more often! :)

Kelly not only told us a little more about her thought process behind this beautiful card below, but also made a video so you can snag some expert tips and make a great card for yourself!

I am so excited to be a part of Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember event! I just love that Simon is celebrating anything and everything related to stamping. Stamping is just the best, and I had so much fun getting inky with this card!

I combined Lawn Fawn’s new set, Our Friendship Grows, with an older set, Summertime Charm. I just love giving old favorites new life by combining them with new sets! After coloring with Copics, I used the coordinating Lawn Cuts dies to cut them out. I just love the dies because it gives a perfect white border, and it gives me more time to create more stuff! I was inspired by Lawn Fawn design team member, Elena, to add smiley faces from our Sunny Skies stamp set to the sunflowers. It makes the card so cheerful!

To create a realistic jar look, I layered vellum over the jar, and then I decorated the jar with the label from the stamp set and some Gold Sparkle Lawn Trimmings! The base of my card is covered with the new Into the Woods 6×6 pad paper. It all coordinates so well together!
