I am always lacking in Birthday cards around my house so I thought I would try and make a quick and clean Birthday card.  This could be easily replicated with other images or other ink colors.  I used Owen’s ABCs to spell out “Happy” and stamped it in three different inks, one right below the one before.  I then used Milo’s ABCs and spaced the letters out so that whole word “Birthday” was the same width as the circles above.

I really like the graphic look of these two fonts and just love the contrast of using them together to create a custom sentiment. I decided to use the bike from Cruising Through Life because it was a large image and filled the rest of the card below the sentiment to create a sort of block of graphics within a thick white frame, also I just love using the die to cut out the bike. ;) I stamped it with Black Licorice ink and colored with Copics adding a little glitter to the purple accents and the basket.

Finally I used the coordinating die to cut out the bike then mounted it on the card base with some thin foam adhesive.  I purposefully allowed the bike to overlap my sentiment and placed the top handlebar to look as if it is the crossbar for the “H.”
