Joy Giraffe by Yana Smakula

yana-smakula-2016-sss-joy-giraffe-4yHi friends! Thanks for stopping by today! We are so pleased to welcome back the always creative and fantastic Yana Smakula who dug out some fun critters (Stacking Animals) we released earlier this year and dressed them up for Christmas! She used the scarf and antlers from the Christmas Cats set and topped it off with the Falling Snow background and Joy die for a sentiment. Be sure to watch the video and enjoy!

  1. the giraffe is so cool. I do adapt my stamps to suit me ;-) turned the baby party animals into halloween monsters and I have this grumpy cat stamp that gets dressed up a lot ;-)

  2. Yana–what a cute card! I especially like that you showed a way to mix stamp sets and get more use from both! The birds are so much fun and the giraffe looks like he is begging to be part of the Christmas celebrations with his new antlers! Thanks for sharing a great project!

  3. I just love that adorable giraffe standing proud with joy! Such a great combination of pieces and the coloring is amazing! This is a really fun card, and I may just need to get myself that JOY die it so versatile!

  4. such a lovely wintery card. the critters especially the giraffe are super adorable and its such a great idea to put the giraffe through the letter O – its so unique. thanks for the inspiration

  5. Love the card, it’s just adorable!. I’ve had the Stackable Animals on my wish list since it came out so maybe someone will give it to me for Christmas ;) The card is just so adorable and I love how you always thing outside the box on your supplies!

  6. I just love this card! I don’t have any fun critter sets. I guess I’ll have to invest in some so that I can dress them up for holidays! ?

  7. Now this is thinking outside the box. Who would think of a giraffe on a Christmas card….certainly didn’t come to my mind but it is absolutely adorable.
