It’s Your Day!

Hi readers! Happy Saturday! Today I’m pleased to welcome back Lawn Fawn‘s Chari Moss back to our blog as a guest designer! I love the dimension of this card and the fact that it’s a shape. (Other than square or rectangle! Ha!) It adds such interest and would be sure to make anyone’s day!

Enjoy!

This card is inspired buy the spring blossoms starting to pop up everywhere.  It’s refreshing to see the bright colors of spring after the dead brown of winter.  I used the bouquet of flowers image from Penelope’s blossoms and stamped it in the light green color.  Then I used the individual flower images in the set to stamp out the colors of the flowers and die cut them out with the matching die cuts.

The single flowers match the one in the bouquet so it works perfectly to layer them like I did on this card. I also used a darker green and stamped over a few of the leaf images to create a little more variety in the colors.  I used a piece of gray card stock from my stash for my background.  I wanted to use something neutral and solid so the flowers would pop then I used the pink polka dot paper to create a nice frame.
