Frosty Village Card

Good morning, all! And if you’re in the US, Happy Thanksgiving!

Kristina here, and today I’m showing another idea for using the punched shapes from the Martha Stewart Crafts Pop-Up Frosty Village punch. By cutting the card stock on a slope, the punch is able to reach farther into the piece of card stock. This gives the line of houses and trees a more dynamic look.

After experimenting with both ink mists and distress inks, I found the easiest way to use the shapes as masks was to use a Blending Tool and Distress Inks. Super easy, and because you can re-use the masks, you could create this card over and over. :)

Anyhow, enjoy!
