Hydrangea Blooms by Laura Bassen

Hi friends! Happy Tuesday! Gorgeous real life shot of hydrangeas above, isn’t it? This was the inspiration for the fantastic Laura Bassen for her feature today, and oh my goodness did she represent it well! She used the Hydrangea Blooms stamps and dies along with some of her favorite Simon Says Stamp inks (including HOT MAMA!) to recreate this gorgeous scene in card form. Don’t forget to watch the video, and enjoy!

  1. Laura–I really enjoy all of your videos but this one with the Hydrangeas is FABULOUS!!! Being a Master Gardener, I love my hydrangeas–they are a native plant to many of our states (especially here in Ohio) and that makes them really good for our gardens and our pollinators (bees, butterflies and humming birds)! Your hydrangea card looks so authentic–I love how you got the inspiration and yet made it your own. Thanks so much for the incredible technique and inspiration!

  2. Love the Hydrangea and the colors. I have a bush in my yard, however, the deer like them also. I have a fence around them, but they get their neck on it and bush it down to get to the flowers. Thanks for sharing .

  3. Hydrangeas–my favorite flower. The photo could be from my garden and your card captures their beauty so well. TFS
