Hello, Sunshine! Fun Watercolor technique featuring new Lawn Fawn!
Hi friends! Please join me in welcoming special guest Audrey Tokach who made a gorgeous card showcasing new Lawn Fawn products! Read on to learn all the details and enjoy!
Hello all! Audrey here! I am so excited to be sharing a project with you today featuring some of the new May Lawn Fawn release, along with some older Lawn Fawn favorites! To create this card, I started off with a piece of watercolor paper which I cut using the largest die in the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangles die set. I used Distress inks in Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin and Ripe Persimmon to watercolor a background on the panel. When it was dry, I splattered on some Gansai Tambi Starry Colors metallic gold watercolor.
I die cut the new Lawn Fawn Giant Hello Sunshine die twice from white card stock and once from gold glitter paper. I glued the white die cuts together for some dimension, and inlaid the word “sunshine” using the letters from the gold glitter die cut. Before adhering it to the panel, I added a strip of Lawn Fawn Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow petite paper pack to the bottom of the panel. I glued the sentiment down with ., and around the sentiment, I added a trio of clouds cut from gold glitter paper using the Lawn Fawn Simple Puffy Cloud Frames dies. I stamped and colored the cute little sunshine from the Lawn Fawn All the Clouds stamp set and die cut it with the coordinating All the Clouds dies, then popped it up with foam tape. To finish off the card, I added a scattering of tiny hearts cut from gold glitter paper using the Lawn Fawn Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag dies before popping the panel up on a horizontal A2 card base. That’s all for me today! Be sure to check out new May mini release from Lawn Fawn! So many cut things! Thanks for stopping by! :)
