Hi there crafty friends it’s Cheiron here with another monthly post. This month, I have made a fun and simple painty card using Tim Holtz Distress Inks as watercolors along with some of the newest Stampers Anonymous stamps, Mod Cactus and Bold Greetings in a summery color combo.

I wanted to have a colorful greeting for my card, so I stamped the sentiment from Bold Greeting in Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide onto a 4 x 5 1/4 panel of Distress Watercolor cardstock then embossed it with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Embossing Glaze to make it super pigmented and shiny. After that I stamped three of the cacti from Mod Cactus in Black Soot Distress Archival Ink. I stamped some of the coordinating flowers in the set on top of the cacti in Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide and embossed them with the Distress Embossing Glaze.

To finish my card, I painted it in with Distress Inks in Black Soot, Carved Pumpkin and Kitsch Flamingo and once it was dry, I added lots of splatter in the same colors and added it to a black card panel.
