Hi Everyone!
My name is Darlene DeVries and I’ve been video blogging every week for six years! Wow, time flies when you’re having fun. :)
I have created over 400 videos on card-making, including techniques, product reviews and comparisons, and basic 101’s. I love card-making so much that one year ago, I started an online community called LiveLoveCards. In addition to all my videos, we have an active forum, challenges, and other fun features such as polling, “favorites” bookmarking, thumbnail galleries by product and technique, and a special section for member craft rooms (including my step-by-step work-in-progress – a craft room from heaven with a target completion of February!).
For me, card-making is more than just making cards – it is teaching and interacting with fellow card-makers… literally the kindest people in the world. To help members get the most for their craft-spent money, I show multiple uses for products and compare similar products. I just started a new video series called “One Flower, Eight Ways”, where I am coloring the same stamped flower with 8 different coloring mediums.
I’ve made Session #2 available for free – you can check it out HERE. There is a nominal fee for membership: $2.50/month. Here are a few other free videos you can view:
Enjoy your visit and I hope to see you more often! :)
Darlene
