Good Wishes for Christmas with Shari

Hi everyone! It’s Shari here with another card idea using the Holiday Card Kit 2013 inspired by Tim Holtz.

The design of my card allowed me use up some of my scraps and still create a card full of interest. I started off by using inks with an acrylic block to create a watercolor effect, then used the Simon Says Stamp Medium Tag die to get my mini collage started.

I’m in love with this color combination right now… Evergreen Bough with Iced Spruce (both included in the kit), sprinkled with a bit of Silver embossing and some black for contrast. This makes me very happy and when I’m happy, creating is so easy. Do you have a favorite combination?

I had a good time with this one using the black Rub-Ons mixed with silver embossing. It’s full of texture, dimension and SPARKLE! I have put together a video with the process, Enjoy!

I hope I’ve inspired you with another way to use your kit!  If you haven’t ordered this kit, you should check them out, there is still time. This kits has so many things to sample and play with. There are two types of kits for you to choose from Clear Stamps or Cling Stamps.

Have a great day!
