Glitter + Stencil Technique

Steph4

Hi there! Happy Monday, everyone!  I’m really excited to share this amazing new technique Jennifer McGuire tried using stencils and glitter.  I think the outcome is absolutely stunning and could be so versatile based on the stencil you used! This Ocean Spray glitter color that Jennifer uses in the cards is one of my favorites!

Be sure to watch Jennifer’s entire video below to grasp the full technique, and enjoy!

  1. I cannot wait to try this technique of stencil with glitter. This technique would work well for a beautiful birthday card.

  2. Absolutely stunning cards! Love the elegance of the stencil and the colors are so adorable! I´m just in love with this “teal” now. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Wonderful cards, Jennifer! Thanks for the video which now, for me, makes it “do-able.” I only have Scor-Tape sheets so I hope they work okay. :)

  4. I LOVE glitter, so this is just right up my alley, and I also love blue, so this is more than perfect for me, and I absolutely LOVE them both and the way you get two cards out of the same diecut. Just perfect use of materials.

  5. I love glitter but could never quite figure out how to keep it stuck in place. Thanks so much for all the great tips, I’ll definitely be trying this out soon!

  6. These are just so gorgeous. The colours and the bling. Excellent photography as well. I often have problems when there’s glitter involved but these are clear and show the glitter fabulously.

  7. I always love Jennifer’s videos….I learn so much and this is no exception…I love getting two cards for the work of one!

  8. Jennifer’s gift is making things look so easy! What a great technique. I love the two-cards–for-one aspect. I’ll be trying something similar later today!

  9. Jennifer, you are such an enabler. I love this technique and I’m drooling over your cards. Now I have to go buy some cool stencils to try this out. Thanks so much! I love your posts!

  10. Jennifer, you never fault to amaze with beautiful cards and techniques! Thank you for the great tips and video.

  11. What a great tutorial. Your instructions are wonderful. Love how you created this card – two for one. How great is that? Thanks for sharing your tips and I am already looking forward to your next post.
