3.Name 2-5 people who inspire you to be creative. (I am questioning if I am answering this correctly.) I started making cards around 2009, I believe. I wasn’t sure where to start so I picked up a Paper Crafts Magazine (sadly out of print!) and one of the designer’s that really reached out and grabbed me was Dawn McVey! She continues to inspire me with her designs and use of color. I also adore Melissa Phillips. Her sweet spirit shines through in everything she does! I follow many other blogs and Pinterest boards.

If I had to pick one word to describe me it would be – can’t follow orders. : ) I’m sorry I don’t follow directions well. My apologies for not only naming one!
– What is your most-used tool in your crafty stash?
There’s a few: My acrylic blocks; my non-stick craft sheets (teflon mats); my fountain and all my other black pens (super-duper fine point, with so many brands it’s impossible to enumerate them); my Momento Tuxedo Black ink pad; my Copics; my Big Shot Pro and dies; my iPad- that’s how I check out new stuff!
– Name one item from your crafty wishlist that you cannot wait to get!
Confidence to feel “worthy” of using all the wonderful things I already own!
– Name 2-5 people who inspire you to be creative.
This isn’t a “named” specific person, but rather an industry full of folks- and that’s music. I’m always moved by my music, from country/bluegrass, classic/hard/alternative rock, opera, classical/ neoclassical, comedic/parody, alternative/punk/grunge, indie/folk, angry chic rock/politically motivated, gospel/soul, blues/r&b, techno/electronica, metal, reggae, jazz/ragtime, rap/hip-hop, oldies, and musicals/broadway.
Specific folks: My dogs (who make me aspire to be as good as they think I am); my dad, Francis; Jennifer McGuire; Sandy Allnock; Tim Holtz; John Cleese (that’s not really six since my dogs aren’t technically humans!).
