Hello friend! Debby here taking a creative look at Simon exclusives with a view to really get the most from our supplies. Today, I’m concentrating on one die set which has so many possibilities for out of the box thinking – Tiny Tags! This set has a great array of shaped tags which bring all sorts of different options to mind, but the one I worked with is the square tag with two rounded corners if that makes sense! I’m sure there is a correct term for this shape but it is eluding me LOL. Looking at this tag the first thing that came to mind was a fish! I cut the tag from Neenah solar white and coloured by blending in Cotton Candy ink and then finished with a spritz of a new love of mine – Tsukineko sheer shimmer sprays! For those of you that love the Zig wink of Stella pens – think liquid wink of stella and you won’t be far from the mark. Gorgeous!

The fins and tail were from the Full Card Triangle Die and treated with Hero Arts dark quartz ink. Finally a little rhinestone eye finished off this little fishy. However, the fish wasn’t the only supply in disguise on this card! See the sparkly bubbles in the background? They were created by pressing Versamark ink through the Falling Snow stencil and then heat embossing with Judikins iridescent sparkle embossing powder. Other dies making an appearance were the A2 Card Curved Edge die as the sand, the Leaf Column Outline and Life Column Background as pond weeds cut from Mint and Green Apple respectively and finally the Talk Bubbles 2 die with sentiment from the Tiny Tags stamp set.

Moving on to my second card and a CAS one this time. I used the Tiny Tag dies to cut four tags and coloured with Simon’s Cotton Candy and Hero Arts dark quartz, fresh peach and soft granite. These were then given a liberal spritz of shimmer spray and grouped into a graphic flower shape. I wrapped a strip of vellum around the panel and then added the Baby die cut and a sprinkling of Basic Grey enamel dots. The sentiment was completed with the matching Baby stamp set.

I hope you’ve enjoyed taking a closer look at the Tiny Tag die set and that you will take a fresh view of your own supplies :)

Thanks so much for reading today and thanks to Debby for two jaw dropping inspirations!!
