Faux Colored Embossing with Jennifer McGuire!
Hi friends! Happy Monday! We’re excited to say NEW Hero Arts releases for 2016 are now HERE and in stock and we’re ready to start creating with them! We asked our talented friend Jennifer McGuire to create a card with some of her favorite newly released Hero Arts products, and she came up with this adorable card featuring Layering Goldfish Stamps and Dies, Pearl Strings background, and the Many Everyday Messages clear stamp set for a sentiment inside!

Aaack, I don’t have any layering stamps to try this technique out myself!! Guess what I’m going to have to get myself!! LOL!! I’ve actually done that embossing trick with the clear embossing powder over coloured ink!! Love the acetate window idea and will be trying that out soon!!

I don’t know which is more genius, the faux embossing or the clear panel. I don’t many 2 step stamping sets, but I’m totally looking for ways to use the clear panel on my next card!

i love everything about this card, the layered fishes, with eyes, before Jennifer added the eye they looked dead ;-) the seaweed , see through panel and the pearl bubbles
Thank you so much for this idea Jennifer!! I’ve often tried to use clear embossing powder after stamping with pigment ink and the end result is awful. Now I can try it with my dye inks and know it will be so much better!!!!
