EZ with CZ: Masking + Monochromatic Ink Blending

Hi friends! Happy Thursday! Please join me in welcoming special guest Cathy Zielske back to our blog for the latest edition of EZ with CZ! Read on, be sure to watch the video, and enjoy!

Hi everyone! Cathy Z. here with another installment of EZ with CZ! Today I’m sharing a simple way to make a monochromatic band of color on any card panel using some Distress Oxide inks, a stencil and some masking.

I am using the Simon Says Stamp I Like Small Dots 6 x 9 stencil, but any stencil pattern can work for this technique.

Once you have your bands of color and pattern, you can top it with a die cut for a clean and simple card project.
Here is my video showing you this easy process:
Thanks so much for stopping by! See you next month!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and thanks to Cathy for being our guest!
I love these Cathy!!! Really Beautiful cards!!
Love the simplicity and so pretty. Thanks for the easy stencil technique.
Unique way to use a stencil that most would just use once on a card. The overlapping was great and loved it with the different shades of pink. Thank you.
Fantastic card. Thank you.
Oh wow, this is so cool!
