DIY: Felt Holiday Coffee Cuffs
Hello everyone!! It’s Shari here with some easy DIY coffee cuffs to kick start your holiday crafting.
My family and friends are coffee drinkers… what better gift to give everyone than a cozy coffee cuff… right??
I used wool felt with die cuts and even stencils to create a variety of cuffs. These are simple to make and sewing is optional!
I started with a cardboard sleeve, opened it up and used it as a template to cut out the base layers of felt. For my red cuff, I used Brushed Pewter Distress paint with the Tim Holtz Pines stencil. Once it was dry, I used a hot glue gun to close the seam. I tried my hand at blanket stitching the edges of my brown tree cuff, It’s not a perfect stitching so it has a fun whimsical look to it.
I’ve used the Ho’s dies but you can use any word die for a more of a year round gift. Have fun using your imagination by mixing and matching colors of felts and dies to personalize coffee cuffs for your loved ones!
I’ve filmed a “how to” video which you can watch below or on our YouTube channel HERE!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope I’ve inspired you to get started on your holiday crafting!!
