diecember-release_927-reveal-01

Hi friends! Are you ready for a very special blog hop celebrating our latest release? Let’s celebrate die cutting this DieCember(TM)!

Today’s blog hop is loaded with inspiration from the following awesome designers.  I hope you’ll take a moment to stop by their blogs and see what they’ve created for you today!  Every stop on the hop has a $25 gift card up for grabs.  Including this one!  Just leave a comment letting us know what you’d like to see us do to celebrate Diecember together.  The most creatively clever idea will win a $25 shopping spree (as determined by our Simon Says Stamp Home office – WE LOVE hearing from you and your fun ideas!)

Below are the newly released exclusive dies just for you!

Thanks for stopping by today!  We really appreciate your support!  HAPPY HAPPY FRI-YAY!!!!!

  1. I love the new dies. I’m new to card making and love watching the different techniques. Thank you for the opportunity to win.

  2. How about Diecember Improv? Number the dies, number different colors of cardstock and patterned paper, embellishments, etc. Spin a numbered spinner to see which die to use, which colored pape, which embellishment, etc.
    Love these dies!

  3. Awesome dies!! A couple ideas to celebrate diecember 2016
    – create a tic tac toe challenge board with various SSS dies and other supplies. Crafters will pick three elements in a row and showcase their work in a linkup. SSS will pick winners.
    – on YouTube and Pinterest, have crafters use diecember supplies and tag their work. On SSS blog, feature some favorite ones

  4. So many great dies here! Hard to pick a favorite! I think this blog hop is a great way to celebrate die-Cember! I just love grabbing my coffee and hopping along with all of these talented ladies! Thanks for starting my weekend off with a bang!

  5. How about a Chinese Takeout menu plan. Pick one item from column one, one from column two and so on. The dies would be in column one and then other items in the following columns to use in making an item which is enclosed in the Fortune Cookie. A card, 3D item etc. This is kind of sketchy but you creative types can come up with how to arrange the products for producing great results. Love the bear and bunny, the scripty words and the trees.

  6. Wow great dies–how to celebrate Diecember? How about host a die cut party–everyone brings their 3 favorite dies and 10 pieces of paper–and everyone leaves with a new bunch of die cuts–of course you’d need several people to bring their die cut machines too–or do a mystery die cut exchange–bring 10 die cuts–and exchange for 10 from the other guests. Lots of food, wine and fun of course!

  7. I love dies!! As to what to do with them, I am currently on a Popup kick. I love the dimension that it gives to cards and the element of surprise. So fun!

  8. Really looking forward to hopping! Everyone always has such amazing projects, and I can’t wait to see. I love the idea of seeing what you can do with just the dies, and without stamps! That’s a bit of an extra challenge. :D

  9. Lovin’ this DieCember hop! Always innovative dies from SSS and inspiring projects from this talented group of bloggers! I want to see some challenges for these ladies with a time limit to make a card with a specific die, using it in a way other than how it was intended!

  10. I love this release, I secretly wished to have some more background ones like last year. What about some countdown kind of game, where you give discount on a special die/feature something old /introduce sg new for limited time /make a special challenge where the random winner can get a SSS die set etc. Every day just tiny news to keep up the buzz ;) I love Die-cember :D

  11. These dies are outstanding and I look forward to seeing what the designers come up with. Thanks for sharing.

    Linda D.

  12. Love the birch tree die. Have to
    purchase that one. Hopefully I’ll
win one of the $25 prizes. thanks
    for having the hop.

  13. I would love if it if you would have a guessing game for your designers. Every designer has to submit a card using the dies you sell. Then they all have to guess who made which card. THEN the designer or designers who guessed correctly would make an unedited video of themselves recreating the card.

  14. Loved seeing the dies used in the hop. The birch trees, handlettered greetings and the scalloped stitched border are my top favorites. Thanks for sharing!

  15. Beautiful new dies, the leaves in a circle are my favourite. I love blog hops so I think that’s already a great idea to celebrate. Other than that, how about a week of flash challenges? Each day you could do a 24 hour lasting challenge with a particular die theme (not limited to a specific die as such, but a die type, eg a word die, using and showcasing nested dies or pierced dies etc). Kind of like the weekly challenges, with the difference that this time we’d only have a day to make something and enter?

  16. To celebrate together maybe you could have a contest where we could enter our favorite Christmas project that we have made. I am liking the projects I have seen so far and can’t wait to check out more (I started in the wrong place)

  17. I love this card! It really is striking with the background against the trees, even with the glitter in the shaker card.

  18. December is a time to be with family and friends. For Die-cember Simon could encourage DT’s and other staff to create projects with their loved ones and post them along with a fun story that goes with it.

  19. Another great release! I’d love to see a gallery dedicated to each release for ready inspiration (after the hop.) Maybe linked with the Monday/Wednesday challenges.

  20. AAA I love these blog hops!! For Die-cember you could set up a challenge, like a specific colour or theme to follow, similar to the Monday and Wednesday challenges :)

  21. This is my first Diecember celebration, so I’m excited to go through the blog hop!

One idea is maybe have a Diecember challenge of using new and old diecember releases to show us how to stretch our supplies even more :) Plus a way for us to see dies we may want to purchase that we haven’t seen before!

  22. Oh, my goodness, SSS – these are to DIE for!! You outdid yourselves with this release!!! Every one hit my wishlist which just got pared down with the last two sales, but now it’s bloated again. lol!

This hop was a great way to celebrate Die-cember. I’m sure your Monday and Weds challenges will have a Die theme soon, too. Perhaps you would let us e-mail you die suggestions and if you pick one, the submitter gets one free when it comes out?(Of COURSE that means I have a cool one up my sleeve!! lol!)

  23. Love the sunrise border and the handwritten greetings. Would love to see some out of the box three d projects with Simon Says Stamp dies, old and new. Well, actually, lets see what I can do with that idea myself LOL. Hugz

  24. I love new products and I’m addicted to dies. I don’t have any out of the box ideas for diecember. Maybe a challenge where you use any SSS die in an unexpected way not the intended shape or something along that line
