Color Coordinates: Spring Rain
Hello everyone!! Welcome to the blog and Happy Friday!! I have a super fun technique and color combination for you that I think you will like. I am inspired by thought of Spring after all the snow we’ve gotten lately here in the Mid-West.
I used blues, greens and a hint of purple for this combo, which remind me of rain and ocean breezes. I’ve also figured out that Simon brand inks can be used to custom color tissue paper. What?? This opens up a lot of possibilities for me!!
I am so thrilled that this worked and I can’t wait to try it in all sorts of colors. Todays Color Coordinate ink colors look nice when they are overlapped with each other especially using the tissue paper. The in between colors blend nicely.

We’ve been playing with tissue paper and Distress Inks in my stamping group. I like this strip technique quite a lot, too and will try it soon.

I really appreciate these color coordinates posts, because I’m not great at picking out palettes myself. It’s really handy to have someone with an eye for color to help me out! Thanks for sharing the palette and the fun tissue paper technique. It reminds me of doing papier mache in school, only much prettier.
Wonderful flower die cut & colors. Makes me long for Spring even more. Forecast here in Central TX is for rain.
