Color Coordinates: Spring Rain
Hello everyone!! Welcome to the blog and Happy Friday!! I have a super fun technique and color combination for you that I think you will like. I am inspired by thought of Spring after all the snow we’ve gotten lately here in the Mid-West.
I used blues, greens and a hint of purple for this combo, which remind me of rain and ocean breezes. I’ve also figured out that Simon brand inks can be used to custom color tissue paper. What?? This opens up a lot of possibilities for me!!
I am so thrilled that this worked and I can’t wait to try it in all sorts of colors. Todays Color Coordinate ink colors look nice when they are overlapped with each other especially using the tissue paper. The in between colors blend nicely.

What a great technique! I always get my tissue paper at the dollar store and rarely do they have the color that I need/want. But I have plenty of white tissue paper, so I can’t wait to try this. Thank you so very much! And I too am looking forward to Spring, “snow” being a four letter word in my vocabulary! ☺

I like everything about this card. Such a smart idea to color the tissue paper. I will be looking into the gel you used for cards and for my tissue flowers. Tacky glue leaves a noticeable glue mark on tissue.
