Simon Says Stamp Olive Green is a wonderful deep green with just a hint of yellow. Reminds me of the program M*A*S*H with all their Army fatigues! But most of all Olive is a great color for making masculine cards (which are the most difficult.) I found some fun products to go with it and some that compliment nicely.

I’ve shot a video of the walkthrough with a little explanation of my card. Enjoy!

To start my card off, I used a sheet from the Breeze My Mind’s Eye Paper Pad. Then I started building up layers using a strip of Olive card stock stamped with YOU using Olive ink.

I incorporated the Indi Chic Grow washi tape and strips of pattern paper. And finally, I used the Indi Chic Pennant Garland to top off the card design.

This is going to one of the men in my family for sure!

  1. Olive is not the prettiest of the greens but it sure has it’s place. So many things I color and match up require a bit of olive. Wonderful collection of “stuff” today. You always make reviewing the colors so much fun. I can’t wait until you get to fuschia!

  2. Olive is a great color! I love it for masculine cards especially. Thanks for showing us all those wonderful products.

  8. I love this feature! Great idea to show some items that coordinate (vs. not just match) with the key color. Shari’s cards are always beautiful…it takes courage to collage!
