Heidi Crowl
Founder of Simon Says Stamp. Crazy in Love with my hubby and life partner, Mommy of two fun(ny) kiddos, forever mom to our pup Simon who sadly passed over the Rainbow bridge, and a new mom to our family protector German Shepherd. Lover of all things art, craft, and stamp related. Goofball at heart.
  1. Love this whole series of encouragement. Yesterday I watched Kristina Werner’s video making the galaxy background and had a thought that I could make a background like that for a card for my daughter who loves anything about “the universe” I will put a sentiment something like “”You’re out of this world!” on it. Or maybe “The job you are doing is out of this world!” I think she’d love it.

  2. These stamps, dies and sequins are amazing! I adore the lovely messages–hats off to you for trying to encourage love and kindness in this crazy world of so much craziness.

  3. That looks fun!
I also give a mention in class to my students who said “Thank You” to someone that holds the door for them, I think this is something we all forgotten these days!

  4. I’m going to make two encouragement cards this afternoon. One for a friend recuperating from cardiac surgery and another for a friend who is going through challenging times….

  5. I took my partner to look for a bicycle for his birthday to encourage us both to exercise more. He liked the idea! :)

  6. I’m retired now, but I would love to make cards, using the teacher messages stamp set, for my teacher friends who are returning to school soon. It’s an exciting, but stressful, time of year, and they need to be reminded that they DO make a difference!

  7. Love the Big Words clear stamps and You’re a Star die. So many ways to use them to spread kindness and encouragement! I’m Inspired already!

  8. I’m a firm believer in simply smiling at people. You never know what that one simple gesture will do for someone.

  9. Becca Yahrling, you and I are of the same mind! So important to smile at people and look them in the eyes.

My mom is staying with me for the summer. And whether she knows it or not….all those pesky questions I ask her about what she is watching truly are my ‘kind gesture.’ Something to help her think and believe that her opinion matters. Sigh. Growing old is not for the faint of heart!

  10. A “thank you” for every day things means the world to most people. So, I make sure to say it with a big smile to my family each day.

  11. My mom is a fellow crafter, but she lives out of state. We text back and forth with advice on projects and such. For me encouraging someone is easy as a text with kind words and cute emoji attached.

  12. I especially love the sentiments, they are great. I look forward to seeing all of the cards on tomorrow’s hop! A smile and hello to any stranger can help to brighten anyone’s day.

  13. Eeek! That back to school encouraging words set is just so fun…and the critters are adorable! Love seeing happy images and sentiments!

  14. A card is always a great way to send encouraging wishes to someone and brighten their days. I have to say though that having some supplies arrive from Simon Says Stamp would brighten my day!

  15. Wow! Love, love, love this new release!!! Critters, fruits and space dies and stencils are AMAZING!!!

    1. I forgot to say what I can do to encourage someone. I think that the best tip is to be always kind to one another.

  16. Who can’t use some encouragement from time to time! Fantastic release and fun hop! The animals are so adorable! Love the galaxy images and the cool stitched alphabet. The stencils are so pretty!

  17. Encouragement is so important and can come in lots of forms. Young or old we never outgrow our need for it. I think this release has great elements to it.

  18. Like the idea of crafting and making projects with the theme of encouragement. Also I am really liking the two new sequin sets!

  19. Hi Heidi ~ This release is amazing and with the way things are going, your timing is perfect. Encouraging words are needed all around us and the Kindness Matters die is perfect! I’ve used that phrase as my “mantra” and “signature” for such a long time that I feel like you’ve created it just for me! hahaha Thanks so much for an awesome release and the beautiful creations by your blog hop members. So much gorgeousness! Happy Weekend!! ~HUGS~

  20. great release! So many ideas for the cute pun and animal sets. It could be fun to have a bunch made in your purse and when you notice someone doing something nice or needing encouragement… just jot their name at the top and anonymously give it to them.

  21. These are some beautiful products to help spread a little love to someone else! We all need encouragement from time to time and I believe and always have believed, that if you smile and be kind to all, you will be doing a huge service to someone in need. We never know what others are going through.. between tragedies, finances, health, etc…. a simple card to or encouraging gift can lift a person’s spirits so high and can make all the difference. Thank you for coming out with these products… they will help all of us makers to make someone’s life a bit brighter in their time of need.
    Hugs,

  22. I’m so excited to go through your blog hop and see these new goodies in action. I already have my favorites so we’ll see what gets added to that list! :)

    1. Sorry- I didn’t read the whole post before I commented. Since the day is almost over, I tried to encourage someone today who was going through a really hard time by letting him know that I’m very sorry and I’m here for him if he needs someone. I keep him in my prayers, too.

  23. I think this is my favorite release so far! Love the stamp set with the little cool cat and all the other adorable critters! And the teacher stamp sentiments…love them!
