  1. I envy your ability to colour items in – love the shading on the windows. I failed Art 101 at highschool (compulsory!) especially the concept of shading. I will simply enjoy your work instead of reliving the horror of being told to sit down and stop working on my shading before I really ruined it! LOL! I follow the blog by email.

  2. Awesome job coloring all the highlights and shadows. When you have a stunning focal point, like the one on your card, you really don’t need a lot of extra embellishments. I struggle with leaving white space…but I think I can learn to change, thanks for the video.

  3. It is an awesome card! Thanks for showing us how to use the stamp set in a way other than travel. I appreciate the video you shared. I agree with Mary R.’s comment above — I struggle with white space as well.

  4. I am on a balloon kick to lately! Although your balloons are much prettier than mine! I’ve been using sewing thread as the strings because I can’t find any other line in town… not craft store!

  5. The car stamp reminds me of my Dad’s car when I was younger. I wish I had tied a bunch of colorful balloons to it! Such a fun card Laura!

  6. What a great card! I love this stamp set. That station wagon reminds me of one my parents had when I was a kid…complete with the wood grain panels on the side! LOL

  7. I love this car, it makes me smile every time I see it zooming across then split coast screen! I think the next one should be the puppy running across the screen!

  8. Really cute card! I love the way the larger balloons make it seem as if they’re drifting toward the viewer!
