Caring Hearts Card Drive
The holidays are about family, kindness, and joy. However, during this time many of the elderly who live in nursing homes feel lonely. Wouldn’t it be great if we brought a smile to their face and brightened their holiday season simply by sharing our love of cardmaking? Please join crafters around the world for the 7th annual Caring Hearts Card Drive. Last year we collected over 22,000 cards and distributed them to over 100 nursing homes throughout the world. And we hope to collect even more this year! Please join us. Details for the card drive can be found at: Vera Yates Blog & Jennifer McGuire’s Blog. Simon Says Stamp is proud to be a sponsor… offering a prize to a lucky contributor!

Working on my cards have 177 done trying to work until next week so I can get them mailed. The 30 day coloring challenge is helping me get a lot done.

i ahve sent some in, as much as wieght for the postage would allow, I hope they make it in time from the Netherlands
THANK YOU for supporting this wonderful cause!!!
Such a kind, caring act of kindness! I routinely donate my cards to a not-for-profit cancer hospice in a nearby town.
I wish I would have known this sooner but I will be sending cards!
I am hoping to take some time this weekend to make a bunch of cards for this card drive! It is such a wonderful event and it makes the holidays a little brighter for MANY people. Who doesn’t want to be a part of something like this? I know I DO!!! Thanks for the reminder and being a sponsor!
I have started making cards. I hope I’ll be able to send at least 20.
I had made 30 card kits to work on with my grandchildren (mostly the oldest granddaughter who is 6). However, she didn’t want to give them back–she wanted to keep them for her teachers, parents and friends. What can a Grandma do? I hope to be able to make some on my own and send them to this great cause.
Years ago, we took my own children to some local nursing homes to deliver flowers at Easter. The ladies were so, so grateful!
Thank you to everyone who put this wonderful project together! I will be participating even if I can’t send as many as I had hoped!
