  3. Another great card–love it! So cool that you are making for your daughter who works hard–that’s terrific! Mine are all grown up, with college degrees and great careers. That’s how to do it–just keep encouraging!

  6. Your daughter’s going to love this, Laura! Such a fun card and idea. The only problem with cards like this is I always want to see how they look opened, which makes it kind of difficult to actually then give it. Thanks for sharing the technique!

  7. Great Card and love the emboss resist technique. I have those flaps as well so thanks for the great idea.

  8. What a delightful card! Your tip for getting the letters straight and spaced is genius! I even think I can handle it! Hope your daughter enjoys her fun gift and card!

  9. Fabulous card – love how you hid the gift card. Thanks for the tip about how to line up your letters – worked beautifully! My daughter’s first piercing was a double in her right ear lobe and that was it, nothing in the left. Hope your daughter enjoys her double piercings!

  10. Love the card! And I love the colors you used! And what a great Mom for getting your daughter a GC so she can get her ears pierced a second time!! That’s great, she’ll love the card and the GC!! Thanks for sharing!!
