Amore Laura Fadora: Circle of Thanks

Amore Laura Fadora: Circle of Thanks

Amore Laura Fadora Feature

Hi friends! TGIF!! Welcome to the latest edition of Amore, Laura Fadora with the fabulous Laura Bassen! Today’s inspiration is a “two-fer” as Laura calls it where you use the positives and negatives of circle die cuts to make two gorgeous thank you cards! The highlights of this card are Simon Says Say Stamp cardstock in Green Apple, Green Leaf, Sea GlassIsland Blue, Royal Purple, Doll Pink, Orange Peel, Sunshine, and Black. The die set used is our Nested Circles wafer die set, and a ‘Thanks’ sentiment from our You + Me stamp set to finish things off! Be sure to watch the video and enjoy!

  1. I love things that look as though they were very difficult to make and must have taken a lot of time. To top it off, it’s so colorful. Thanks for sharing a wonderful card!

  2. What bright, cheerful, nostalgic but simple cards plus a great way to use up scraps! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Laura, always enjoy your very informative videos. Amazing, isn’t it, what your scrap bin can yield? I’ve finally organized my scraps in rainbow order. Makes it easier to find those bits to add to my cards. I love the final results of your cards. So gorgeous and colorful. Love them.

  4. Wow! Such a cool card design! I love both of them! It is indeed like an optical illusion, as Laura suggested. Thanks for the awesome video!

  5. Such a bright, cheerful card. Great idea to use a flow of circles. I’m going to try it playing with ovals, as well as circle and oval frames and see what happens. Thanks for the inspiration!

  6. Wow, this card is awesome. The dimension is great because it looks like you are looking at he bottom of a tumbler or bowl.

  7. Such cute cards and
    I love the green based
    one. These look like
    felt pieces.

  8. Love this bold card from the ever-creative and wonderful Laura!! It is always a great thing to find a design that can be made using just a few basic items, and that can be used for a multitude of occasions!! Thanks for the great idea!!!

  9. I love this! It’s so colorful and would be good for a man or woman. I’m definitely saving this idea. Thank you!

  10. Gotta love a quick and easy card that also looks GREAT!!! Laura, I always enjoy your videos and cards. Thanks so much for sharing!

  11. Love the two for one cards and especially this vibrantly colored card! I went through my scrap bin a year ago and sorted usable color scraps. I store my cardstock in clear folders like Jennifer McGuire and sort the folders in rainbow order like you do. Each color is in its own folder AND then an empty folder in in front of each color group with my scraps inside. That way, when I reach for just a scrap, I have it already sorted and ready to go and now use up my scraps like crazy.

  12. Fun, easy card. I love projects like this that also provide 2 cards for the same amount of effort as for 1.

  13. This is just eerie. I just made these cards on Tues. after a class on layering.I used just 5 colors of cardstock & cut them in squares. I loved the results & yours as well, Laura.

  14. I love the way you think Laura! Such bright cheerful cards, and nothing goes to waste with 2 cards from the die cuts!
