Studio Monday with Nina-Marie: Decorated Tea Bags
Hello crafters, it’s Nina-Marie here with you! Welcome back to a brand new National Craft Month edition of Studio Monday! Because March is National Craft Month, we are focusing on making super-easy, DIY projects with some of your cardmaking or scrapbooking supplies. Today’s project is how to make decorated tea bags! These are perfect for creating as gifts for friends or family members.
I love the images from Altenew’s Tea Time stamp set; aren’t they cute? The artsy, hand drawn style of them inspired me to break out my watercolors and do some loose watercoloring, which is my favorite way to watercolor. You don’t have to use this set however to make these tea bags; if you have a favorite set of images (in any theme), that would be awesome too!
The tags are from Pretty Pink Posh’s Mini Tag die set; I loved the size of these dies, and they fit really well with the images from Tea Time.
Here are some close up shots of the finished tags…
I hope you will check out the video to see how I made these cuties! Thanks for tuning in with me today… I will be back again next week with a new tutorial for you!
