Altenew January 2018 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
Welcome everyone!! If you have come from Reiko Tsuchida‘s blog, you’re in the right place! It’s Shari carroll here to give you some inspiration using the new Altenew Peony Dream and Watercolor Stripes Cover dies.
I’ve been experimenting with ways of adding color to my cards and have found a really easy technique of fingerprinting with Dina Wakley Acrylic paints.
I die cut my pieces, added color with paints and stacked them back together with a bit of foam tape for dimension. The colors are fresh and tropical which warms me up in the middle of winter.

By far one of my favorites. . Finger painting, haven’t done it in years. The watercolour effects are beautiful. Great inspiration, thank you.
I love the colors you used as well it does warm you up in the cold of winter. And I moved from Florisa to Canada after getting married so I am missing those blue skies and vibrant Florida colors.
