3 NEW STAMPtember® Inspirations!

When I opened up my box of STAMPtember® goodies and came across the Naughty Nautical Stamp Set I knew I had to create something with the “Oh, Ship” greeting since my kids’ favorite commercial is the K-Mart one about shipping pants and the sentiment totally had my giggling! I created the belated birthday card using stamps from that stamp set stamped in a colorful column of Hero Arts inks to match the Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm striped paper! I love being inspired by other product to use color combinations I may not have thought to use together! I finished my card by matting the stamped strip on the striped patterned paper and then on another coordinating paper before adding machine stitching down each side and adhering to my card base. I added a touch of sparkle to my card by coloring over the stamped ship with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker.
I was inspired by the colors in my nautical card to create a very similar card in another theme: this one a quick thank you card using the new Thanks 3×4 Stamp Set inspired by THIS card I created using the Simon Says Stamp Happiness Enclosed Card Kit that showcased a repeating pattern of colorful stamped greetings. I love that you can create a card for a different occasion but still use the same design! Easy peasy!
Lastly, I wanted to play with the new Whimsical Flowers and Handwritten Greetings Stamp Sets. Since I still had the Hero Arts inks out on my table, I grabbed a white note card and stamped this simple one-layer card. I’m addicted to creating one-layer cards. They are super easy to send through the mail and by adding layered stamping and sweet touches like the white pen dots to the flower centers and glitter over the flowers you can add dimension without the bulk for a quick and easy beautiful card. :)

Nichol never fails to amaze me with her range of vision and talent. From multi-layers to one-layers, from fussy cutting to die cutting, she does it all so well. Her work is always delightful. These are no exception.
