Thanks so much for stopping by, and thanks to Laura for being our guest!

  1. The cards are great. Loved what you did with the products. Yes, I remember May Day. We used to make little baskets out of cupcake wrappers and put candies in them and give them to our friends. Also, danced around the May Pole. Thanks for all you do for us, Laura.

  2. So funny… I saw “Stephanie” as the sender but am trying to do 10 things at once… and I thought, “Wow, those look like Laura’s work, though…” Now I know why! Up to now, I have resisted this set. $60 seems steep…. But now I am seeing that there really IS a lot to it. I’ll see if it’s still available when payday arrives.
I love your cards, Laura… yes, it’s a cone. I will worry about you with regard to “the words are hard” when you start talking like my mom. My husband and I play “guess the noun” when she is talking about taking “the thing” or “the stuff” to “the place.” GAAAA.
Thanks for the excellent video. I did not see a three-fer coming but will happily take it every time!
Oh, and regarding May Day… I think you’re more used to celebrating it b/c of living in Germany? Maybe? It’s a big deal there, isn’t it?

  3. Great cards Laura! I do remember May Day, when I was growing up in the Midwest, we would make May baskets, often just paper cups that we put a pipe cleaner handle on. We’d fill with candy, leave it on the door step of our friends and ring the door bell. The receiver would run out of the house and chase you until they caught you and kissed you! One ran fast so as not to be kissed! Only did this when I was younger, after a teen the tradition stopped.

  4. These cards are so adorable and so Laura’s! My favorite for the simplicity is the flower arrangement, looks beautiful.
My husband is from MN, and we lived there for about 10yrs after we married, I remember getting a little pot with flowers on May Day with a neighborly note, very sweet. I may sound bias but I love people from the Midwest, for their friendliness and warmth.
