2 Cards with One Die!
Hi bloggers! Happy Monday afternoon to you! I’m always so happy to share with you something else lovely that the fantastic Jess Larsen has made for us to share on our blog with you! Today for her special STAMPtember® feature she shows us how to make 2 gorgeous cards with one die! If you all are anything like me, you appreciate a good value & a gorgeous result!
Enjoy!
As a lover of all things crafty, I often collect different products and then forget to use them! It has been a goal of mine to rediscover those products, so I decided to experiment with my alcohol inks. They are so much fun to play with, and I have found that you can really do no wrong with them — my kind of product! :-)
I combined my alcohol ink background with my very favorite STAMPtember® product — the Big Hello die. When they say BIG they mean it! This die is HUGE and works perfect for the focal point for a couple of quick and easy cards. For the first card, I die cut the Hello five times using white cardstock. I glued them all together to create a very thick, dimensional hello. I added the pink alcohol ink Hello on top of that and popped it on to a white card base. Very quick and easy, but still packs a lot of punch.
I couldn’t bring myself to waste that pretty inked background, so I decided to create a card out of the negative of the die cut. For all the details and to see those awesome inks in action, check out the start to finish video I created!
