2 Cards with One Die!

Today for her special STAMPtember® feature she shows us how to make 2 gorgeous cards with one die! If you all are anything like me, you appreciate a good value & a gorgeous result!

As a lover of all things crafty, I often collect different products and then forget to use them! It has been a goal of mine to rediscover those products, so I decided to experiment with my alcohol inks. They are so much fun to play with, and I have found that you can really do no wrong with them — my kind of product! :-)
I combined my alcohol ink background with my very favorite STAMPtember® product — the Big Hello die. When they say BIG they mean it! This die is HUGE and works perfect for the focal point for a couple of quick and easy cards. For the first card, I die cut the Hello five times using white cardstock. I glued them all together to create a very thick, dimensional hello. I added the pink alcohol ink Hello on top of that and popped it on to a white card base. Very quick and easy, but still packs a lot of punch.
I couldn’t bring myself to waste that pretty inked background, so I decided to create a card out of the negative of the die cut. For all the details and to see those awesome inks in action, check out the start to finish video I created!

This is one of my favorite new dies! And that the negative space will be just as much fun to create with as the diecut itself !!
