Spring is always a lovely time to sit in the garden listening to the birds singing and watch the butterflies and the bees fluttering around, We will be looking forward to seeing what you choose to use on your projects!

This is Linda’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight ands we would like to say a big thank you for all of your creations over the past few weeks. We have really enjoyed having you along with us :-)

Linda made this beautiful panel using Tim Holtz Butterfly 1 and Butterfly 2  cling stamps.

Andrea created a stencil from a lovely Darkroom Door Robin stamp to create this flock of ATC’s.  The backgrounds were created using patterned paper, washi tape and several Seth Apter Spellbinders dies: Robo Rings, Ring Around, and Splatter Proof.

Anna-Karin made a scrapbooking layout this week using beautiful Nature Sketchbook papers by Graphic 45. The page was inspired by a butterfly quote and she cut out butterflies to flutter around on the background.

Barbara loves so much new Paper Dolls by Tim Holtz. She built around one of this paper doll, a piece of altered art with a lot of winged things cut with Sizzix  Tim Holtz Butterfly Frenzy decorative Strip and  painted  with  Distress oxides.

Cathie decided to create a springtime panel using Paper Artsy Infusions with elements from the Simon Says Stamp Songbird Branch wafer die and Tim Holtz Botanical Paperie Layers.

Emma was inspired by the thought of beautiful spring days and created a textured background on one of Tim Holtz’s new Etcetera Tags, which she decorated with a kaleidoscope of butterflies from the Flutter stamp set cascading out of the die cut Tea Time cups.

Kath decorated a canvas to celebrate the arrival of Spring using Idea-ology Botanical Layers, Paper Dolls and Sizzix Thinlits Mini Detailed Butterflies

Lols chose to use a bird stamp from the new Tim Holtz ‘Hipster’ Set, even though you can’t see the wings it is a bird so they are there, only hidden!

Macarena found wings in the Cupid siluette and decided to make a quite masculine love card using a lot of Infusions and Prima Acrylic Paints.

Maura made a colorful felt bird, using Simon Says Stamp’s Ocean Waves Spring Plush and Plum Pickin Purple felt, and embroidered it with Iris embroidery floss.

Meihsia was inspired to created a mixed media tag with the watercolored background using Daniel Smith watercolors and embellished the tag using Tim Holtz Caged Bird Die.

Sandra loves the beauty in dragonflies, like the Layered Dragonfly she used for her card. She started with the Ricket stencil along with Copper Crackle Texture Paste and went over it with Sunset Beach Infusions
