Crafty with Caly: Geometric Builder Squares
Welcome to the latest edition of Crafty with Caly on our blog today! Caly Person has made two STUNNING geometric cards! Read on and enjoy!

Hello Friends! It’s Caly with you today and I’m so excited to share some geometric die-cut backgrounds with you using the Geometric Builder Squares and Diamond Tiles dies!

I’ve created a video for today’s projects and hope you’ll check it out!
WATCH THE VIDEO:
For my first card, I used the Diamond Tiles to create a fractal pattern using pinks and purples. I lay them them down in random order, but made sure not to have two pieces of the same color touching.

My second card uses the Geometric Builder Squares that I arranged in stripes across the panel. Both cards are adorned with 3 layers of Crocus Flowers for added dimension.

To finish my cards, I simply trimmed sentiments from the Reverse Happy Sentiment Strips. So quick and easy and I love not having to pull out stamps to emboss over black cardstock!
I hope you enjoyed these geometric patterns and designs! Thanks so much for visiting today! ~Caly

Funny Friday with Art Impressions: the ULTIMATE Interactive Card!

Hey there, friends! It’s Nina-Marie Trapani here with you, back with a new installment of our popular Funny Friday series! Each month we bring you a fun-filled card using Art Impressions products – and this one is sure to be a treat!

I’m using not one, not two, but THREE interactive elements on this card – a slider, a shaker, and an action wobble! I made a slider from the Lawn Fawn Slide on Over set, which allows the little bird to zip back and forth. The shaker is behind the Chunky Birthday sentiment. And I adhered the adorable hippo to the card with an action wobble! All of these add up to what I think is pretty much the ultimate interactive card!

Want to see how easy it was to make this card? Watch the video below to see it step-by-step!

Throwback Thursday – Earth Day Edition!
Welcome to another edition of Throwback Thursday—a trip back in time!
A new exclusive Simon brand release is headed your way next week (YAY!), but today we’d like to take a look back at some recycled and repurposed projects in celebration of Earth Day! Below you’ll find three inspiring and unique projects that are beautiful AND earth friendly!
First off is this sweet altered clipboard by Shari Carroll:

Shari’s cute project is not only darling, but she was able to use a drinking straw, cardboard, and pop tops to create the petals of the flower. You can see the details of this design by Shari on our blog HERE and of course, she’s made a video showing her process which you can see on YouTube HERE.

Lorraine transformed an empty cocoa container into this wow-factor blender brush holder. She used two beautiful and intricate Prima Marketing Moulds and had a blast painting, inking, and stenciling. Lorraine shared this project HERE on her blog where you will find the details of her process.
