How to Craft a Stunning Die-Cut Floral Card for Your Sweetheart: Crafty with Caly

Happy Friday, friends! Please join me in welcoming special bi-monthly guest Caly Person to our blog today! Be sure to watch the video so you can learn all of the details on how to recreate this gorgeous card!

Hi friends! I’m sharing a card today using a few dies from the Sweetheart release. The Leaf Flourish and Gentle Blooms dies pair well together and I’ve die-cut both using white cardstock and add color using Pawsitively Saturated Ink.
Be sure to check out the video to see how I’ve ink-blended these die-cuts to add movement to the petals using Detail Flat Blending Brushes.

For the background, I used the Regal Hearts cling stamp. I tapped on some color to transfer onto a white panel for a blended look.

After adding the Leaf Flourish stem, I added the Fancy Sweetheart sentiment first so that I could work the additional Gentle Blooms stems around the sentiment.

I finished my card with a sub-sentiment using the Reverse All the Love sentiment strips. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for visiting today! ~Caly

Art Journaling with Shari Carroll: Do Not Crush

Welcome, everyone, and happy February!! It’s Shari here with another page for my 2024 art journal. I’m using a circle as my format this year, and today, I have a layered piece to inspire you.

I’ve used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Transparency Layers, Snapshots Volume 2, and Organic Layers Ephemera. This may look difficult, but it’s not. Just add layers as you desire!

Check out my video below to see how this all came together. Enjoy!!
