NEW Art Journaling Installation with Shari Carroll: Metallic Accents on Faux Alcohol Ink Background

Welcome, everyone!! It’s Shari Carroll here with another entry to my circle journal. I’ve been creating many styles with my pages as I go along. Today, I’m featuring some fantastic products I’ve pulled together for a simple, colorful, shiny page.

I found this gorgeous Paper Rose Inky Colour 6×6 paper in our store and had to use it on my project. The colors are so bright, and the surface is perfect for heat embossing.

Remember, Art Journaling is what you want it to be. You can use your pages as technique reminders, messages to yourself, or just something pretty. They are for you.

New Twist on the Popular Blackout Embossing Folder Technique!

Hey friends, it’s Nina-Marie Trapani here with you! I’m sharing a twist on the “blackout” embossing folder technique that is super hot right now. For my projects, I am using our Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks and our new Beaufort Floral Frame embossing folder.

I also used our Simon Says Stamp Large Happy Birthday die and Bold Birthday sentiment strips to add greetings to each of the cards.
The blackout technique gives a completely different look to your embossed designs—and by using this twist on the idea, you get to change the feel of the card by using a combination of colors. I just love it!

Nina-Marie Makes Book Making Simple with Tim Holtz’s New Release!
Happy June, friends! It’s Nina-Marie Trapani here with you and this project that I am sharing features a ton of new Tim Holtz products that are SO MUCH FUN to create with! I was really excited to play with Tim’s latest Idea-ology release and I made a booklet folio with it!

The folio is so easy to decorate; I used some Large Collage Strips, Collage Paper, Postmarked stickers, some Paper Strips, and Typed Tags. I added some distressing by blending with Distress Ink. I also used Distress Crayons to add color to my folio.

This booklet folio is so much fun to customize! Watch the video below for all the details!
