We have another bright and cheery share from the fantastic Laura Bassen, who reminds you in this video, the importance of using a crock pot! ;) While I am definitely starting to really look forward to my favorite season (Autumn), this thinking of you card reminds me to soak up the rest of the warm weather and enjoy it! Hi readers! Happy Sunday! Please join me in a great big WELCOME to another first time guest designer on our store blog, Joni Nina Andaya! Today we’re featuring another great brand; WPlus9. Her card design is so lovely and is just giving me another reason to look forward to the upcoming season of Autumn!

Hello Everyone Joni here, I am so excited to be guest designing here at Simon Says Stamp. Today I want to share with you the watercolored card I created using the new Wplus9 stamp sets in Grateful Greetings and Autumn Leaves, and the new Gift Card Layers die set.

To begin my card I first stamped the images and watercolored each image using the Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi 36 Color Set. For the final touch on the coloring once the images are dry I then watercolored each image with the gold watercolor from the Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi to give the gold effects on the images.

Next, I die-cut the watercolors paper using the new Wplus9 Gift Card Layers die set and die-cut the bottom of the both watercolor papers using the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 2 dies. For the sentiment I used the Wplus9 Grateful Greetings stamp set. I stamped the sentiment on a vellum paper using the Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Ranger Gold Embossing powder. Then I added May Arts Natural Twine to finish off the card.
