Simon Says: Not A Card

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Galaxy Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to make something that is:
NOT A CARD
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Tim Holtz. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! You can join 5 times so you could have 5 chances to win! How AWESOME is that!! All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win! Woo Hoo!! Good Luck to everyone!

Please remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details of how we made these creations and leave these wonderful girls some comment love

This week we’re welcoming the lovely Kerry aka Kerry’s Papercraft into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!
Kerry used Tim Holtz Eclectic Elements ‘Gilded Mosaic Gold’ and ‘Bouquet’ Fabrics to make phone/tablet stands. She accessorised with a Thought Token, Heart Adornment and Antiqued Gems on a Metal Hook Clasp.

Andrea made a pair of bold dangly earrings using Tim Holtz’s Remnants and Glitch 2 stamp sets. She colored beads using Tim’s alcohol ink (Flamingo, Sunset Orange, Citrus and Cloudy Blue) and used his Loop Pins to attach some of the beads to the finished product.

Anna-Karin took a journey with a butterfly art journal page. The large butterfly was die cut with Tim Holtz Perspective Butterfly and the two small ones with the Detailed Butterflies set. The background is covered with design tape.

Barbara created a trio of tags to celebrate Pride Month! To make her rainbow she used Ranger Mini Distress Ink pads. For the center and the background of these tags, she used Heartbeat, Falling Hearts and Alphanumeric Emporium, by Sizzix for Tim Holtz. To complete the project she added two stencils and a stamp by Stampers Anonymous for Tim Holtz: Element Stencils Everyday Art, Mini stencil set 48 and Inquisitive stamps set.

Cheiron created a colorful set of ATCs using some of her favorite Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamps: Flutter, The Inspector and Mini Media Marks along with Distress Paints and Mini Archival Inks. She finished her cards with some splatter and sentiments from the Thoughts Label Stickers.

Emma is inviting you to jump on board to take a look at the Mini Clipboard she created using The Inspector stamp set by Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz as the main focal point. She layered the inspector over a size 8 Mixed Media Heavystock tag, inked with Distress Spray Stains and surrounded him with Sprocket Gears.

Kath created a piece of wall art using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Facades, Floral Trims, Sizzix Cobblestone 2 3D Texture Fade, BrushStroke Flowers 1 Thinlits and Idea-ology Transparent Layers, Quote Chip Labels and Bouquet Findings.

Lols made a tag using a Tim Holtz Celebrate Colorize Die Set. For the background she splattered with Distress Resist Spray and spritzed with Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress Sprays. She added a Mischievous Cat and Sentiment Stickers to finish.

Macarena made an Art Journal spread using Tim Holtz Sizzix Oliver Colorize and Funky Trees dies. She built up the background with Studio Light Coffee Circles die covered with Ranger Multi Medium Gloss Paint Ink and Tim Holtz Distress Crayons.

Maura made an Artist Trading Card duo using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous The Inspector stamp set and his Bubbles stamp.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag usin Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 55 on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology ENGRAVING and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
