This week we’re welcoming back the lovely Teresa York into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Teresa used a small Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Tag and two Idea-ology Vignette Boxes for the base of her Christmas inspired holiday scene. She combined various distress papers from Ranger with Idea-ology products including wood slices and some woodland trees. Various Sizzix/Tim Holtz dies were used to create the festive scene; Vault Christmas Magic, Forest Shadows, Chilly and Freezy, Celebration Words Script. She completed the tag with reindeer moss and jute twine.

Andrea made a Tim-tastic card using skyline dies from Tim’s Vault Christmas Magic die set. She stamped onto her buildings using Tim’s School Desk and Grunged stamp sets. The card is cut out of Kraft Heavystock in a file folder shape from Tim’s Specimen die set and the sentiment is attached with Tim’s Cello Sticker Tape.

Anna-Karin made a mixed media canvas for a friend. The bird was die cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Feathered Friends and all the greenery comes from the Vault Festive Wreath set. The background was stenciled with Tim Holtz Stamper’s Anonymous Latticework and Bubble stencils.

Barbara created a card using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Acorns 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder. She used Ranger Distress Spritz Wilted Violet, Villainous Potion, Crackling Campfire, and Tsukineko VersaFine Clair Fallen Leaves Ink pad to color it. She added Tim Holtz Idea-ology Muse Tokens Coin to finish the card.

Kath used the newly released Tim Holtz/Sizzix Letterboard and Fresh Brewed Sidekick Side Orders along with her trusty Sizzix Sidekick to create a card for a friend who now lives far away to send her a Starbucks Gift Card and let her know she’s thinking of her and missing the conversations they used to have over a coffee.

Macarena made a card with a foresty mood using Tim Holtz Paint By Numbers stamp set for the background and Lovestruck Colorize die for the focal point and the sentiment she took from Abstract Florals stamp set.

Maura just may be trying to ignore the approach of winter with her card this week. She went for a Spring look with Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Abstract Florals stamps, Tim’s Archives Collage Paper, and Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Mr. Frostie on the background, and added sentiments with Tim Holtz idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS and Tim Holtz idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book

Zoey used the Side-Order Letterboard to create the sentiment of her tag. She also used Postale Thinlits as her main focus + Wildflowers and some butterflies as decorations . For the background she used a bunch of Distress Oxide Inks and Broken China Distress Spritz to add some glam!

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!

It’s Alison’s  last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Alison loves a brick wall, so she grabbed the Ranger Crypt Paste and put it through Tim Holtz’s Bricked Layering Stencil to create a textured background for her autumnal gatherings.  Some paint, a Pumice Stone Distress Crayon and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide all add to the distressed look of the bricks.  And over the top, what else but her very own berry stamps from the PaperArtsy Fodder Berry Edition?  They look so luscious, painted with the Distress Watercolor Pencils.  The leaves are die-cut from papers smooshed in Distress Inks, Oxides, Spritzes and Mica Stains, using the Fall Foliage and Leaf Fragments Thinlits dies.  And the berries nestle amongst real twigs and flax seedheads from Alison’s garden.  A few Snippets Ephemera – Curator labels and Number Strips add detail to the background, and the words are from the Clippings Stickers.

Andrea made two tags using Dina Wakley’s new 3″ Square Tags. She also used a Dina Wakley stencil, Dotted Tape, along with two stencils from Creative Expressions: Geometric Dots and Starburst. She added some scallops at the bottom of her tags courtesy of AALL & Create’s Majestic Borders die set.

Anna-Karin made a mixed media Halloween tag this week. She used Tim Holtz Halloween Collage paper to create the background with the large skull. The bats and moon were die cut with Tim’s Vault Wicked set. Here and there, you will find Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Dazzling Gunmetal Gems. The bats in the background were stenciled with Tim’s Batground stencil.

Barbara created a couple of tags using two stencils from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, Batty in the mini version set 61 version and Flourish in the mini version set 10. The central portraits are from the Idea-ology 2024 Halloween Layers and Paper Dolls pack.

Kath created Halloween cards using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Batty and Bones Layering Stencils from Set 61, Halloween 2024 and Archives Collage Papers, die-cut words using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Gothic Portraits Thinlits and added a generous splattering of Rusty Hinge Distress Spritz.

Macarena made a layered card kept in shades of blue. She used Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Digits with Distress Texture Paste Black Opaque. Then she kept adding layers and embellishments from 49 and Market Color Swatch Charcol Ephemera and Wherever Chipboard Bits.

Maura made two leaf themed cards with Simon Says Stamp’s Monstera and Stromanthe stencils. She also used the Tim Holtz Mini #9 stencil set, and Simon Says Stamp’s Pawsitively Saturated Paprika and Field inks, and snuck in a tiny elf from Tim Holtz’s Stamptember 2024 stamps.

Meihsia was inspired to create a birthday tag using Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 5 on the background, and adding images with Simon Says Clear Stamps Once Upon a Dream and  Copic SKETCH 72 PC SET C Markers.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
