It is Sandra’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Sandra helped WinifredGertrude and Clarence to pack their bags before heading off for the mountains in their old jalopy.

Anna-Karin took an imaginary ride in a vintage car this week. She used Tim Holtz Elements of Time for the car and Rock Star for the city. The sky was done with the Shifter Rays Stencil.

Barbara uses her favorite color palette to create a couple of tags inspired by Tim Holtz Demo about Alcohol Inks! She used Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Inventor 9Tim Holtz Sizzix Foundry, Ranger Alcohol Inks  MonsoonStatue AlloyWhite Yupo paperTim Holtz Alcohol Lift-Ink Pad.

Cheiron was thinking of a bike ride and the three gentlemen on their bike from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Theories set were perfect for it. She added them to a rainbow background created with Ranger Distress Inks and stenciled them with Stars and Digits stencils and added some Machinery and a bit of stitching to bring her card together.

Emma was inspired by Harry Potter and created a 3D home decor project using plenty of her favourite Tim Holtz products. She created 3D suitcases using the Baggage Claim die, and surrounded them with idea-ology including Skull Fragments, Tiny Corked Vials, and a golden snitch made from Regal Adornments and a Bauble.

Kath created an Art Journal travel-themed page in her Dina Wakley Blue Edition Media Journal. She used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Vintage Auto and Ticket Booth, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Baggage Claim BigZ die and Idea-ology Typeset and Travel Collage Papers, Baseboard Doll, Salvaged Tags and Theories Quote Chips.

Macarena made a one layer card with an embossed tree from Simon Says Stamp Blossoming stamp set and she placed a car from the Visible Image The Right Direction stamp set. She colored the scene with Distress Oxide Inks.

Maura reminisced about her ride on an elephant, and went to her large Dylusions art journal to stamp the Pink Ink Designs Elephant and add some stenciling with the Simon Says Stamp Large Moroccan and Square Dance stencils.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Paper Sea World on the background   and added sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Quote Chips and Remnant Specimen Rubs.

Sandra was inspired by a hot air balloon ride for this card, and she started with Botanical Collage Paper and added texture with Texture Paste and Rays stencil. She applied color using Liquid Acrylic PaintsInfusions and Nuvo Shimmer Powder.

Zoey used her favorite combination of Alcohol Inks ( Statue , Mushrooms, Slate, Pebble and Gunmetal) to decorate the background of her tag. She also used Distress Grit Paste in translucent and crackle for the texture.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
