Rox created three tags with a distress ink background using a Tim Holtz stencil. She layered up ephemera from Tim Holtz Large Collage Strips. She also used Dina Wakley Collage Media Paper Antiquities and stamped an image from Pocket Circles and Ledger Script Quotes. Tim Holtz Cello stickers and Postmarked Sticker Book were adhered to the tags. White gesso was splattered here and there.

Andrea made a layered card using American Crafts’ Whatevs Journaling Ephemera and AALL & Create’s Rainbow Reflections Ephemera. She also utilized Elizabeth Crafts’ Planner Cards 1 die set and Measurements stamp set.

Anna-Karin made a card with layered ephemera pieces and some items that she found in her scrap box. The ephemera papers come from Tim Holtz idea-ology Palette Ephemera Pack, Organic Layers, Number Strips and Snippets. The dragonfly was stamped with Stamper’s Anonymous Classics no 1.

Kath had great fun layering up ephemera in her Dina Wakley Ledger Journal using Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Collage Strips Large, Serendipity Collage Paper, Layer Frames Montage, Transparent Wings, Mini Marquee Letters and Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Dot Gradient Mini Layering Stencil from Set 39 with Distress Grit Paste Opaque to add some texture.

Macarena‘s projects are usually very layered and she loves to use ephemera to give dimension and build layers. For this tag she used 49 and Market Birdsong Ephemera Bits and Birdsong Wildflower Laser Cuts. She made this layered composition on a tag stamped with Stencil Girl Kintsugi stencil.

Maura created a tag about her favorite coffee company and added lots of layers and ephemera such as Prima’s Nature Academia Ephemera, Stamperia’s Altered Ego Ephemera, and Tim Holtz Mini Flair. She also added a coffee mug made with Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Fresh Brewed B Blueprint stamps.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Shabby Rose 8×8 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology Organic Layers and Tim Holtz idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.

Zoey used Tim Holtz idea-ology Wallflower 8 x 8 Paper Stash for her background. Then she build up layers with Ideaology Snippets and Ephemera Snippets. The focal image is from Paper Dolls Portrait and the sentiment is from Tim’s Clipping Stickers

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!

The image is beautifully coloured, the background is fabulous and there is so much attention to detail in all those background layers that complete this stunning piece. Wonderful work….

#49 Cez – Macarena says: What a great project! I love the rusty details around the train stamp. Such an amazing dimension with the gears and old train tickets. I especially adore the small tag with a round window and the mini chain. I’m really impressed. Great job!
