Winners: Love Notes challenge
You know what time it is – spotlights and voucher winner time! How fitting that we announce the Love Letters challenge winners on Valentine’s Day!
We have four entries to spotlight today, including two of my personal favorites:
#28 Miyake impressed the team with her lovely dress card. Meihsia says: I love the gorgeous dress with many beautiful embellishments on this mixed media project. Her close up photos showed all the fabulous details. Great design! Ashli says: I love everything about her stunning dress card.. the texture, the sparkle, the creativity. This is a stunning piece of art! Sandra says: Ohhh this piece is so gorgeous! Love the dress to bits! It’s so dimensional and grant! The pearls are such a great touch! It’s exquisite!
#152 Nancy T wows with her love bouquet. Andrea says: Nancy’s 3D paper cone is crammed full of cleverly constructed Valentine’s elements. What a great modern interpretation of classic icons! Emma says: Nancy has put an incredible amount of work into this project for a very special Valentine’s gift. I love the vintage feel and the little details that make this such a unique and charming piece. Really lovely. Tracy says: absolutely stunning gift idea, stunning flowers, vase and card. I love how the card opens to reveal even more beautiful details. Gorgeous roses and I love the card suits.
#198 Nicole M stole my heart with her use of doilies, hearts, and an awesome sentiment in her series of Valentine’s Day cards. I love how deceptively simple her cards are, and that she has shown a number of ways to utilize this one saying onto cards. Her use of color, pattern, and texture is fantastic and I can’t stop looking at her cards!
#200 Donna has lovely projects that remind me to use my crafting supplies for giving gifts as well! I love little Valentine’s treats all cleverly wrapped up and she shows us a number of options. I love how many layers and bits of hearts and things she has on her boxes, and how beautifully she used patterns and materials together to create gift boxes that are a treat as they are! Anything inside would just be a bonus.
