Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

This week we are challenging you to:

STITCH IT

There are many ways to stitch, hand/machine sewing, stitched dies,stamps etc. We’ll be looking forward to seeing what you create!

It’s Rox’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Rox made a card using a Paper Artsy, Alison Bomber Cosmos Edition Stamp Set and a selection of Tim Holtz Distress Inks. She machine stitched around the edges and finished with 49 & Market Artful Moments Icons and Titles Ephemera and a few recycled buttons.

Andrea added some stitched elements to her mini journal pages. She sewed some fabric scraps together (Tim Holtz’s Multi Collage Eclectic Elements and Odile Bailloeul Festival Fat Quarter Bundle) and incorporated a number from Brutus Monroe’s Grunge Type Creative Cards with a stitched topper. She cut some shapes using AALL & Create’s Film Drip Die Set.

Anna-Karin made a card this week. The background was embossed in Simon Says Stamp Heart Showers Embossing Folder and then used for gel printing. The white clouds were die cut with the coordinating Heart Showers dies from Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Velvet Luxury Cardstock Snow.

Cheiron created a fun collage card using stitching on Tim Holtz Idea-ology Archives Collage Paper. She painted the paper using Distress Paints and splattered her panel. She added some die cut Butterbloom Flowers and a sentiment from the Made to Flourish set that she cut out with the coordinating dies.

Kath created a mixed media card using Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Yellow Palette 8″ x 8″ papers, Simon Says Artful Palette Layering Templates and Dies, A Little Artsy stamp set to add stitching and the sentiment and decorated with butterflies using Simon Says Artsy Butterflies stamp set and dies.

Macarena made a nostalgic card using neutral colors with a pop of blue on her stitched panel. She used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Backdrops Volume 4 for the background and several elements from 49 and Market Faded Memory Lane Ephemera, The Looking Glass Wildflowers Laser Cuts and Timber and Tweed Ephemera and Frames.

Maura created a vintage style tag using Simon says Stamp Pepita background stamp, adding faux stitching with Tim Holtz’s Stitches stamps, and Tim Holtz Ground Espresso ink and Simon Says Stamp Ocean ink.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz idea-ology Pink 12 x 12 Palette Paper Collection on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology Paper Dolls Mini and Tim Holtz idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.

Zoey used the stencil from Tim Holtz Clear Stamps and Stencil Flutter, Floral and Trellis as main focus of her tag. She used grit paste and distress spray stain to color the flowers and used Tim Holtz Tiny Text Stamps with Simon Says Stamp Dies Bundle as her sentiment
