It’s Thom’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Thom made a birthday card for his great nephew Giovanni who turns 2 in June. The letters were die cut with Tim Holtz Alphanumeric Classic Upper and Alphanumeric Bold. The gift boxes were made with the present in the Tim Holtz Celebrate set. For the 4 legged friends, Thom used the Cat and Elephant stamp from Simon Says Stamp Wild Love. There is white tissue paper inside each gift.

Andrea doesn’t know how friendly bears are (and hopes she won’t find out), but she does love Dina Wakley’s Scribbly Bears stamp set. She used AALL & Create’s Driplight die for some funky edges. She also used Tim Holtz’s Cello Sticker Tape and Collage Layer Frames for added dimension.

Anna-Karin made a piggy bank card using Tim Holtz Childhood Blueprint stamp set. The sentiment comes from Simon Says Stamp Beautiful and Curious and the sequins are from the pretty Opal Rainbow set.

Barbara created a card featuring Luka, a super cute cat by Lavinia Stamps. To create this landscape, she used other stamps from the same brand: Tree of Courage, Faelorn Rest. For coloring, she chose Lavinia Stamps Elements Premium Dye Ink Pads: Lemon Drop, Mulberry, Mermaid, Pixie Green. For stamping, she used Simon Says Stamp Nocturne Black VersaFine Clair Ink Pad.

Cheiron always loves a four legged friend, especially a snarky cat. She used the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Snarky Cat stamps and colored them in lightly with Distress Watercolor Pencils. She placed them over a background of Peeled Paint and Rusty Hinge Distress Oxides. She added some texture with the Halftone stencil.

Emma went crazy with this challenge and created a set of mini gift envelopes and a matching card using the Stampers Anonymous Mini Crazy Cats and Dogs, Crazy Thoughts and Mini Crazy Things stamp set by Tim Holtz.

Kath decorated a Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous #8 Etcetera Tag inspired by childhood memories of fun times spent with her sister and their much loved four legged friend. She used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Pink Palette Collection paper, Mosaic Mini Layering stencil from Set 28, Simon Says Stamp Long Stem Florals stamp set and co-ordinating dies, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Paper Dolls and Sizzix Handwritten Love and Tiny Type Lower Thinlits.

Macarena as a cats lover made a tag with a cat of course. She used her favorite Stamperia Furry Friends collection: 8×8 Paper and Assorted Die Cuts. She also added in the background AALL & Create Fly Around A5 Rub Ons.

Maura headed to her art journal again this week to celebrate her grand pups and kitties. She used AALL and Create’s You’re Pawsome and Just Memories stamps along with Simon Says Stamp’s Pop of Color stamps.

Meihsia was inspired to create a cute birthday card using The Greeting Farm Birthday Cats Clear Stamps and Rainbow Splash Cardstock Rainbow Pack on the background, and colored it with Copic SKETCH 72 PC SET A Markers.

Zoey used Distress Paint to create her background and mixed with Distress Oxide Spray. She added crackle texture through the flourish stencil and then highlighted the cracks with Foundry Wax. The main image is from Found Relatives.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
