Simon Says: Bright & Cheerful, featuring Simon Says Stamp Products

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Heart Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to make something:
BRIGHT AND CHEERFUL
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using our very own Simon Says Stamp Products. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! You can join 5 times so you could have 5 chances to win! How AWESOME is that!! All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win! Woo Hoo!! Good Luck to everyone!

Please remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details of how we made these creations and leave these wonderful girls some comment love

This week we’re welcoming back the lovely Cassie Lynch into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!
Cassie is ready for Spring and flowers. She used a Simon Says Stamp; Quilted Hearts Background Cling Stamp and a Floral Garden Clear Stamp Set. The flowers were colored with Tim Holtz Watercolor Pencils and the sentiment is from a Tim Holtz Tiny Text Stamp Set.

Anna-Karin made a bright and cheerful tag this week. The circle background was made with Simon Says Stamp Mix and Match Circles stencil and Distress Ink. The hearts were die cut from old book paper and vellum using Simon Says Stamp Sweethearts Box die set.

Barbara continues her memory dex card calendar! For her project she used the AAll & Create Spring Sprouts dies and the Simon Says Stamp Stained Glass Heart wafer die. The sentiment and the stencil used in the background are both by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous: Love Notes CMS477 stamp set and Hearts Layering Stencil mini version set 6. Four Ranger Ink Distress ink pads for coloring, bright as requested by our challenge: Dried Marigold, Kitsch Flamingo, Salvaged Patina and Shaded Lilac.

Kath used Distress Oxide inks to create a bright and cheerful background on Distress Watercolor card, embossed with Simon Says Pinnacle Hearts Embossing Folder and decorated with Tim Holtz/Ideaology Palette Ephemera and the butterfly and sentiment from Simon Says Distressed Vintage Love Notes 6″ x 8″ stamp set.

Macarena used her favorite Simon Says Stamp Mushroom Stems die and embossed their hats with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder Fine Details. For the background she chose 49 and Market Spectrum Gardenia Spiral Notebook.

Maura created a rainbow tag of lucky clovers using Simon Says Stamp’s Sketched Clovers stamp set, and Simon’s Pawsitively Saturated inks like Field and Mandarin, with Simon’s Floating Leaves stencil and Small Blending Brushes.

Meihsia was inspired to create a Valentine’s Day card using Simon Says Clear Stamps Lined Heart To Be Loved and Simon Says Stamp Lined Heart Wafer Dies To Be Loved

Zoey used Simon Says Stamp Sunshine Wafer Die as her sentiment in this journal spread. She also used Transparent wings and Stencil Everyday to add some more interest to her page!

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
