Thank you for joining us for the 4 Legged Friends Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are inviting you all to our 14th Birthday Celebration!!

Can you believe that this challenge has been going for 14 years! The time has flown by hasn’t it! We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our fellow crafters who have joined us over the years and we hope you will continue to join us.

As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using our very own Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Products. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

As it’s our birthday the lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp have generously increased the prize this week to a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we’re welcoming back the lovely Carrie Swift aka redfire_studios into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Carrie created a fun birthday tag using a Simon Says Stamp’s “You Shine” Clear Stamp Set to help celebrate the challenge’s 14th birthday! A Tim Holtz tag was adorned with stamped butterflies, Watercolors, Tim Holtz Distress Ink, and some Seaglass Sequins to create this fun and festive tag. 

Andrea made a birthday tag using Simon Says Stamp’s Label Tags die set, Circle Loops dies and Scattered Stars stencil. She also used the beautiful loopy script from Simon’s Beautiful Bouquet stamp set to create patterns on her tag. She used Simon’s Wild and Free Flowers stamp set for the birthday sentiment.

Anna-Karin made a birthday page in her art journal. To create the words, she used the Simon Says Stamp You stamp set and the coordinating You die from the Cheering for You release. The Simon Says Stamp Mix and Match Circles stencil was used on the background, which was also stamped with the Old Letter Background stamp.

Barbara created a birthday card using the exclusive Simon Says Says Samp Abstract Florals Wafer Dies sss479 that perfectly matches the Stamp set Abstract Florals by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous. She used a subtle color palette, slightly different from her favorite. She added a sparkling touch with the Worn Lipstick Distress Spritz.

Cheiron is sending Birthday Hugs. She created a card using Simon Says Stamp Monstera Stencil and did her ink blending with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks. She placed her cutout leaf onto the Simon Says Stamp Pinpoint Circle Background and added a sentiment using the CZ Design Scripty Hugs.

Kath created a birthday card using  Simon Says Stamp Divine Peony and Birthday Wishes Dies, Old Letter background stamp and Circular Lace Stencil.

Lols  made a birthday card using Simon Says Stamp Happy Wishes and Balloons Die Sets. She used a Tim Holtz 3d Numbered Texture Fade Embossing Folder, colored with Lost Shadow Distress Ink and splattered with Dylusions Postbox Red, Fresh Lime and Black Marble Ink Sprays. She added a Reverse Birthday Sentiment to finish.

Macarena made a colorful Birthday card for a girl using Simon Says Stamp Nested Domed Arched and Tropical Leaf Bunch dies and added a lovely sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Music set. Tim Holtz Sizzix Oliver feels quite comfy in here.

Maura went into summer mode for her celebration card by using watermelon colors. She used Simon Says Stamp Etched Greetings Cle4ar Stamp Set, Doll Pink Cardstock, Rainbow Splash Lime Cardstock, and added the 14 with a Tim Holtz Number Token.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Simon Says Clear Stamps Once Upon a Dream the background, and colored it with Copic SKETCH 72 PC SET D Markers and Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush. 

Zoey used Tim Holtz Abstract Florals Stamps with Simon Says Stamp Dies Bundle and Distress Reinkers to make her background. The beautiful “happy birthday” stamp set is from Beachcombing stamp set.
