Usually, at the end of the month, we have to say goodbye to our wonderful guest designer, but this time Rox has kindly agreed to stay with us to welcome in the New Year! Thank You Rox and a very Merry Christmas to you!
Rox made a shaker card using a Tim Holtz Retro Flakes Stamp Set along with Distress Inks and Spray Stains. She added a Baseboard Window Frame, Rock Candy Glitter and Collage Strips
Andrea made a tag of this dapper kid just waiting for the first snowfall of the season! She used Dina Wakley’s Pocket Squares stamp set, along with Tim Holtz’s Gradient Dot stencil and Faded Type stamp set.
Anna-Karin made a glossy tag with a snowflake background. The tag was stamped with snowflakes from Simon Says Stamp Making Spirits Bright and inked with Distress ink. Simon Says Stamp Layered Warbler was used to die cut the bullfinch from Tim Holtz Christmas Backdrops papers.
Barbara created two tags choosing a wintery color palette purple and turquoise! She used two stamp sets by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Jolly Holiday and Christmas Memories. For her background, she chose another stamp set by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Retro Flakes and two dies by Sizzix Pine Branches (3D folder), Festive Words.
Cheiron made a card explaining how she really feels about snow using the Tim Holtz Festive Words and Alphanumeric Script Thinlits dies. Her background was created with Distress Mica Stains in Wondermint and Snow Flurries and Texture Paste through a snowflake stencil from Mini Stencil Set 18. She added the Simon Says Stamp Vintage Christmas Station Wagon to pull it all together.
Emma invites you to the ‘Jingle Bells Postal Telegraph’ and created an Etcetera Panel using a combination of new and old dies by Tim Holtz and Sizzix. She layered the Santa’s Greeting Colorize Die onto a background of Christmas Backdrops paper and die cut Scribbly Snowflakes, before adding Holiday Brushstrokes 3 greenery and a dusting of Mica Flakes for some icy magic.
Kath created a card with a Scottish Winter theme, inspired by the recent snowfall on the Cairngorm Mountains and the resident herd of Red Deer who have made their way down the mountains into the forests in search of food and shelter. She used Tim Holtz/Sizzix Pine Branches 3D Texture Fade on the background, Forest Shadows, Cool Yule and Festive Words Thinlits with colours of Distress Oxide Inks inspired by the heather that grows on the mountains.
Lols went on a fabulous journey to the North Pole using a Tim Holtz Road Trip Colorize Die Set. For the background she used a Stormy Sky, Tumbled Glass and Lost Shadow Distress Inks and then used a Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil along with Texture Paste and Iridescent Earth Safe Glitter.
Macarena made 3 cute tags for Xmas gifts for her son and his friends. She used Tim Holtz Sizzix Framed Tags dies for the base and the Stunning Snowflake as a main element. She gave a shiny touch with Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Texture Paste Sparkle and for names she used Alphanumeric Label dies.
Maura finally organized her craft space so she could scrapbook again. She made a scrapbook layout using Tim Holtz’s Festive Words dies, Simon Says Stamp’s December Card Kit, Echo Park Summer Favorites 12×12 Solids, and Simon Says Stamp’s Place and Pierce Embellishment Wand.
Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Spray Salty Ocean Ranger on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Jolly Holiday and Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Sticker Book.
Zoey used Mr. Frost as main character of her tag! She also used Distress Snowfall Grit Paste through Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Flurries and Tim Holtz Sizzix scribbly snowflakes to decorate it!
