Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Text It Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are challenging you to make something:

SPOOKY!

Teresa used a Tim Holtz Vignette Shrine and Divided Drawers as the base for her Halloween inspired scene. She used a Mini Lumber Texture Fade Embossing Folder and Halloween Collage Tiles for the background and Ghost Town and Forest Shadows Thinlits Dies along with Bold Frights Cling Stamps as the focal points of the tag. She used Tiny Lights, Drippy Candles, Skulls, Confections Candy Corn, and some Apothecary Vials and she completed the tag with some Reindeer Moss.

Gitta made a spooky wall decoration using Tim Holtz Graveyard and Moonlight Thinlits Die Sets. She used Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Inks and Sprays to color.

Andrea made a card using Avery Elle’s Creepy Cameo Clear Stamps and Creepy Cameo Dies. She also used Avery Elle’s Pierced Rounded Frame Dies. She got a stenciling assist from Waffle Flowers 8.5″x8.5″ Grip Mat and Tonic’s 12″x12″ Glass Mat.

Anna-Karin made a card with two pumpkins. Their faces and the bats glow in the dark. The pumpkins were die cut with Tim Holtz Edison Colorize die set and the bats are from the Moonlight set. The glow-in-the-dark details were made with Ranger Glow Grit Paste.

Barbara created two tags using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Paper Dolls as the protagonists. The background was made with the Iron Works stencil from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous used together with Ranger Distress Black Paste Opaque and Distress Mica Stain Unravelled. To complete the project she added some details: the wings cut with the Sizzix Winged 3D Impresslits Cut and Emboss Folder and the clouds cut with the Sizzix Edison Colorize Thinlits Dies.

Cheiron created a Spooky card using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Skulls 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder combined with the Halloween Bold Text Dies. She added some fun splatters to her card using Crushed Olive Distress Paint and Sterling Foundry Wax.

Emma created an Etcetera Panel, using Tim Holtz idea-ology products bring this dreadfully wicked tale to life.. She attached a Baseboard Window frame, complete with a shattered window and flying bats, over some of the beautiful Halloween Backdrops paper before layering two paper dolls, and floral ephemera from the Halloween Layers and Paper Dolls pack.

Kath decorated a Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Etcetera Tag to tell the story of the spooky house where a strange woman lives with her batty friends, would you brave enough to visit?  She used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Backdrops Vol 4, Stampers Anonymous Bricked and Mini Fractured Layering Stencils with Distress Grit Paste Crypt and Distress Black Texture Paste, Idea-ology Halloween Layers and Paper Dolls, Idea-ology Broomsticks and Bouquet Findings.

Lols made a spooky card using Tim Holtz Halloween Paper Dolls for the main focus. The little girl got lost in the darkness and was captured by the Wicked Witch! For the background she used a Moonlight Die Set, Phantom Mist and Ominous Twilight Distress Mica Stains and 2023 Halloween Backdrops Paper. She used a Falling Stars Layering Stencil and Glow In The Dark Grit Paste to add a little extra spookiness. She added a Broomstick, a Gothic Gate, a few Bats and a Baseboard Sentiment to finish.

Macarena tried to give Edison from Tim Holtz Sizzix Edison Colorize a scary face but he’s got such a good heart. She took some bats from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Halloween Baseboards and Transparencies and a funny sentiment from Snarky Small Talk stickers.

Maura made a spooky witch in the giant pumpkin patch card. She used Tim Holtz/Sizzix Witchcraft dies, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Pumpkin Patch dies, and added stitches to her pumpkin with Tim Holtz’s Stitches stamps. She added sentiments and images to the card and envelope with Simon Says Stamp’s Just Batty stamps, and added glowing eyes with Tim Holtz Distress Glow Grit Paste.

Meihsia  was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Halloween Baseboards and Transparencies on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology HALLOWEEN Paper Dolls and Tim Holtz Idea-ology HINGE CLIPS Nickel Metal Hardware.

Zoey used Distress Spray and Distress Oxide Spray to create her background. She used Shattered Stamp by Tim Holtz and used Gold Embossing powder over it. To decorate the tag she used Ideaology Halloween Embellishments.
