This week the challenge is
Autumn Is In The Air
Autumn well known for the cooling temperatures and the changing of the scenery. The trees are transformed from glossy shades of green to gorgeous shades of red, brown, orange and gold. It is also a time to celebrate Halloween and Thanksgiving, there are so many options you can choose from!
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

Andrea made beads for an autumn Blessings Bracelet.
I love the focus of Thanksgiving and recognizing the blessings in our lives. I decided to make a “Blessings Bracelet” using white beads that I colored with various shades of alcohol ink. I also added in a Tim Holtz metal word band that reflects what in my opinion is the greatest blessing of all: to be loved.
Anna-Karin loves autumn crafting and autumn outings to the forest.
We went on an outing to a forest recently and had such beautiful autumn weather. I tried to recreate some of the feeling in an explosion of fall colours. The StencilGirl Windswept Tree is so pretty and was misted with Distress Spray Stains. The children are sitting in a pile of leaves, die cut with the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Maple Trio from gold Deco Sheet and watercolour paper. The stamps are by Paper Artsy.
For Barbara autumn is made of warm colors and Halloween!
I enjoyed to play with Halloween and autumn colors! With pumpkins, cat and the new leaves of Tim Holtz I created an Altered Burlap Panel that will bring you straight into the mood of this wonderful season!
Cheiron loves Autumn colors and the season of being thankful.
I love the new size of the square Dylusions journal. I wanted to play with it as soon as I got it and mixed up some Dina Wakley paints to create some fall colors for my page. I used images from Dina’s Scribbly Leaves and Pods and Scribbly Alphabet stamp sets.
Emma is celebrating the change in season!
When I think of Autumn, my thoughts turn to Halloween and for my project this week, I chose to make a fun box canvas celebrating everything I love about this wonderful season. I used a Jack O Lantern die cut, glittered with Spiced Marmalade Distress Glitter and surrounded it with fall foliage die cut leaves, all coloured with Distress Inks in rich autumnal colours.
Lols loves the golds and brown tones of the autumn season
Autumn is a time for jumping in puddles and stomping on piles of crunchy leaves, you are never too old to do that you know! I made this using Simon’s Real Leaves Stamp And Die Set, the grainy texture on the leaves in this set make it perfect for autumn projects I made my own shimmer spritzer using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and Gold Perfect Pearls to create a lovely subtle glimmer when sprayed over the White Paste Embossed Woodgrain Stencil background.
Maura enjoys watching the trees changing colors as the crisp Autumn weather arrives.
I love the fall and enjoy every moment of this changing season, I think partly because I know what follows in its footsteps! Every day I look outside and see a bit more change to the fall colors in the landscape. I pulled out my trusty mini blueprint leaf set, my distress inks, including my brand new favorite – Ground Expresso to create my wreathe card. I also discovered these fun little embroidery hoops by Crate paper, which add the perfect element to my design.
Meihsia loves to create mixed media projects with fall colors.
The gold and brown color scheme and leaves are my favorite elements when I think of Autumn. On this tag, I created the texture on the background with Modeling Paste and Distress Crackle Paint. The leaf was die cut using Tim Holtz Tattered Leaves Die.
Michelle is loving the Autumn Leaves.
This is the best time of the year! I love adding leaves to EVERYTHING! It’s easy with the Tattered Leaves Die. Colors, textures, and patterns surround us. Why not add script, too? The Prima Messy Finnabair stamp is sized perfectly for the leaves. And it wouldn’t be Happy Mail without a few fun postal elements from the Tim Holtz Correspondence stamps.
Sandra was inspired by the autumn colors for her art journal spread
I love playing with colors, and I was inspired by the fall color scheme for this art journal spread. The background is gessoed, and on top I used a lot of warm colors Distress Ink. I needed a pop of green, as the season is just started and I wanted big bold letters. I love that the Silhouette Cameo can cut out any size and font you have.
Suzz loves fall and the autumn leaves in their glorious colors.
Fall is my favorite time of the year. The cool days with the sun shining and the beautifully painted trees in their lovely autumnal colors. I decided to create a journal page layered with images of the leaves from the trees. I used a variety of die cuts (Stampendous Leaf Die Set, Sizzix Fall Foliage Thinlits), to create my outlines and masks. I stamped the DarkRoom Door trees inside of my masked leaves to create little scenes.
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
