This week we are challenging you to use the:

FREEZING COLD MOOD BOARD

Zoey has once again worked her magic to create this gorgeous winter mood board for us to use for our inspiration! Thanks Zoey!

It’s Joanne’s  last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Joanne used the Simon Blossom Field embossing folder and the Spellbinders Winter Welcome Sled dies along with Perfect Pearls Blue Hydrangea paint wash with Stickles Star Dust and Waterfall glitter glue accents.

Andrea went with a snow theme and this tag reflects how she feels when she has to drive in it! She used Studio Light’s Ini Mini Zig Zag Journal dies, Tim Holtz’s Photobooth images, Distress Watercolor Pencils, and My Favorite Things’ Connected alphabet stamps.

Anna-Karin was inspired by the robin, berry branch, snow and ice and made a transparent tag. The tag was embossed in Simon Says Stamp Filigree Snowflakes embossing folder and the branches come from Simon Says Stamp Berry Stems. The little bird was stamped with AALL & Create Robin & Nuthatch set.

Barbara was inspired by the color palette of our Mood Board to make a tag using Tim Holtz Stampers stamp set Anonymous Christmas Time, Tim Holtz Sizzix Christmas Cutouts, Tim Holtz Ranger Ink Distress Mica Flakes, Tim Holtz Ranger Ink Alcohol Ink Honeycomb, Idea-ology Christmas Deco Sheets.

Cheiron created a card inspired by the neutral colors in the mood board. She created the base of her card using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Tree Rings 3D Embossing Folder and Weathered Wood and Iced Spruce Distress Inks. She added pieces from the Christmas Cutouts and some Machinery Heads to finish her card.

Emma’s frosty Etcetera Tag project was inspired by Charles Dickens’, A Christmas Carol and she used a combination of Sizzix dies by Tim Holtz, including The Count to create her main focal point of Ebenezer Scrooge before dressing him in his winter finery using dies from The Gent, The Park and Winter Wardrobe.

Kath made gift card tags using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Framed Tags Thinlits and laminating pouches to create a faux shaker effect and decorated with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Twig and Stump Thinlits, Simon Says Believe die, Sizzix Merry and Bright Thinlits and Idea-ology Christmas Label Stickers for the sentiments.

Macarena made winter snowy scene making the fence with Altenew Tree Bark 3D Embosing Folder and placing two birds from Tim Holtz Sizzix Silhouette Birds dies. She embossed the background with a lovely and delicate Simon Says Stamp Filigree Snowflakes folder.

Meihsia was inspired to create a holiday card using Paper Rose WINTER STROLL 12×12 Paper Pad on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Sticker Book and Prima Marketing MISTLETOE LOVE Candy Cane Lane Flowers.
